Shiffler Equipment Sales Launch

The family-run business started in 1972 and was incorporated in 1975 as Shiffler Equipment Sales (SES).

Mark Lewis Joins Leadership of SES

Mr. Shiffler joins forces with Mr.Lewis, an experienced CEO and President of private and publicly traded companies, to manage a successful SES turn-around and develop a strategic plan.

Martin Public Seating Acquistion & Shiffler Lighting Solutions Launch

Acquire Martin Public Seating in Ohio, Sept 2014; a contract school furniture dealer serving the Ohio market for over 35 years. Shiffler Lighting Solutions launches.

Completed Phase 1 with re-capitalization and formation of UnitedForGrowth, LLC (UFG), holding company which owns SES, MPS and Commercial Sales.

Executive Leadership Team Established

UnitedForGrowth announces the acquisition of NorvaNivel effective January 20, 2022. NorvaNivel was founded in 2017 by Jolene and Avron Levin on the successful heels of a similar business in Australia.

Mark  Lewis

Mark Lewis, Co-Founder and serves as CEO and President of United For Growth (“UFG”).  Mr. Lewis previously has held CEO positions for the past 34 plus years in distribution, retail, manufacturing, e-Commerce with extensive M & A growth experience.  President/CEO, Visual EdgeTechnology, Inc., (national rollup of technology dealers), Co-Founder, President and CEO, CalGraph Technology Services, Inc. a wholly owned subsidiary of Tekgraf Inc., a NASDAQ publicly traded distribution company (national roll-up of tech distributors and service organizations).

Founder of Martec/MGD Distribution. Mr. Lewis’s leadership, business and community experience also includes co-founding strategic organizations and serving on company boards, committees and holding numerous trade related positions over the years.  Mr. Lewis chairs the Corporate Executive Committee for the United For Growth parent company in the company efforts to advance its corporate mission, vision and execution of the strategic plan.  Mark holds a B.S. General Management, from Purdue University.

Mark loves to play golf, good wine, listen to all genres of music and spending time with family and seeing the grandchildren.

CFO, UnitedForGrowth, LLC

Nick Piszko

Nick Piszko, serves as Chief Financial Officer and oversees all the financial activities of the organization and its operating entities, including treasury and liquidity.  Mr. Piszko is responsible for leading the finance team, capital structure, financial modeling and reporting, acquisition due diligence and the overall financial execution of the organizations strategic plan.

Working closely with the CEO and operating leaders, he has oversight and responsibility for future business growth and general economic outlook.  Prior to joining United For Growth, Mr.Piszko was the Chief Financial Officer of Ergomat, which is part of the publicly traded SP Group, based in Cleveland, Ohio and Denmark. Nick has been an experienced CFO and has held C-Level and senior financial executive roles managing all aspects of accounting finance, risk, treasury, acquisition due diligence and human resource functions over his 36 plus year career.  

Mr. Piszko also serves as a senior leadership member of the Corporate Executive Committee for the United For Growth parent company in the company efforts to advance its corporate mission, vision and execution of the strategic plan. Mr. Piszko received his MBA and BS degrees from Cleveland State University and John Carroll University in 1995 and 1986 respectively and also received his Six Sigma Greenbelt at Kent State University in 2003.  Nick loves sports, theater, travel and spending time with family and grandchildren.
